Adolf was an Austrian-born German politician who led the Nazi Party. He was chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and was Fuhrer of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. He committed suicide by gunshot on April 30th of the latter year (Wikipedia n.d.). During his reign, Hitler had millions of Jewish individuals killed and tortured, millions of German youth brainwashed, and started the most influential war in modern history. Adolf Hitler was known for being the most hated man in the world, but he had many supporters. Despite all of the brutal and obscene actions successfully executed under Hitler's command, he did some good for Germany. Whether his operations were abysmal or benefitting, Hitler and the Nazi Party not only impacted German politics, but influenced the world's views on absolute power and other political beliefs tremendously. Specifically, Hitler signed the Enabling Act of 1933 and won two thirds of the Reichstag majority, he destroyed democracy in Germany for a period of time, and he improved the economical problems in the country greatly; those deeds modified political standpoints around the globe. .
Firstly, Adolf Hitler signed the Enabling Act of 1933 in March of that year. This allowed political power to be transferred from the Reichstag (Parliament) to Hitler for a period of four years. It required a two-thirds majority to be passed, but with the support of ally parties, it went through easily. That meant that officially and by law, dictatorial powers were given to Hitler. On his first day as chancellor of Germany, Adolf Hitler convinced President Paul von Hindenburg that the Reichstag must be dissolved (Hosch, 2007). During this time, he met with military leaders and politicians of his country to rebuild the ferocious German army.
