The Sociology of Abortion

For 25 years our foreign aid programs for family planning have said that "no applicant shall be discriminated against because of a conscientious commitment to offer only natural family planning.".
Everyone deserves to be happy in life. Being happy consists of having a happy life, family, friends, and being able to do what you want to do in life. If you are raped then you are stopped from being happy. They replay what had happened over and over again in their mind. If you have to carry a baby, that would remind them of that horrible time in their life. Most women go into a deep depression from being raped. Other women commit suicide because they can't deal with the pain and memory of that time. Women may have anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, may be nervous to be touched, and nightmares. To make abortions illegal is torturing women because they suffer enough after the rape. Women shouldn't have to go through more than they have to. "Twenty-five percent of Americans want all abortions legal and large group of fifty-three percent of Americans saying abortions should be legal only under certain circumstances" not everyone wants abortion to be illegal. Most people say that abortion is acceptable, only under one circumstance and that is being raped. .
Church groups will never change their mind about how they feel on abortions. They have very strong opinions about the situations because they think God think it is a sin and "thou shall not sin." There is always that percentage of the population who disagrees with what everyone agrees to. No one can tell them what to think. Everyone has their own opinions and nothing will ever change that. "Sixty-two of Americans want all or most abortions made illegal." People, who don't want abortions to be legal, will do anything in their will power to stop the government from granting this. It had been heard of people who are against abortions, go to plan parenthood and have smashed windows and have tried to convince people to not get the abortion.
