My Life Experience

" And that day I realized that even the greatest of men was once like me, afraid, but they didn't let it stop them.
Life has taken a tremendous turn since that day and I have adorned it with moments of splendour and pride though things were hard to come by. Whether it be academics or sports or any social cause, I have dragged myself over the line that once hindered me of moments to decorate my life with, moments of success, moments of failure, for it is in rising from defeat through relentless effort that true victory lies. That 'pounding' in my chest was gone every time I stepped over the line and every time I learnt something new. My experience is my strongest point and the more challenges that come my way, the more sharp I become. When I was honoured with the badge of "CAPTAIN" at school during my last year, I knew people would look upto me and that my each act would set an example, virtually there was no room for error, but my mentors believed in me and so did I. It only motivated me more and besides taking numerous steps for the welfare of my fellow students, I also shone academically coming in the top 50 quota among the state in the high school leaving exam. My confidence grew and since then, courtesy the Almighty, I have only looked ahead. .
After extensive research and weighing my prospects, I moved to a new town to begin my secondary education. Far from home I had to cope with a completely new environment but my adaptable nature and good communication skills helped me ease my way through. At this stage, my family faced some problem when my mother's health deteriorated and high medical expenses meant I had to manage an alternate income. The part time job I joined was in a car service station next to my rented apartment. I loved the job because it meant that I got acquainted with flashy cars each day and a fellow employee also taught me to drive. However, the job was a little on the physical side which made life real difficult.
