Forgiveness & God

One key issue brought up on a regular basis was the abilities given to human beings in God's image. Man was created in the image of God according to the bible and with this image was the concept of free will. God gave man the ability to think, act, and learn for himself and with this craft is the concept of responsibility.
Responsibility is defined by The American Heritage Dictionary as, "Liable to be required to give account for something." This concept the very reason why it is my believe that I have no reason to forgive God for anything. I may thanks, praise, or even question, but to forgive God for events totally out of his control is obscene in my opinion. With free will comes accountability for your actions and this where responsibility comes in play. In the past, people have been rude, crude, and down right nasty in certain situations, but I still to this day believe that they will are totally responsible for that. God had no input on their actions and I see no reason to forgive him for letting them act as they did.
Past events in my life include terrible things such as the death of loved ones, car crashes, and injuries to my person and ego. When I was born both of my father's parents were still walking upon this earth. I am told storing of me crawling up the stairs of my grandma's house as a small infant just to be able to let her hold me for a brief moment. This was a huge accomplishment for both me and my grandma at this point. You see, Grandma Butler had been bedridden with cancer shortly before I was born. Shortly after my first birthday she passed away. I was too young to know what was going on at the time, but to this day I still do not blame God for anything that happened to her. I loved my grandma deeply and nothing will ever change that; even if she does live in heaven with God now. Her death was not of his doing and I have no reason to forgive him for it.
