Abortion

Many people believe that they know what should be done about abortion. The Pro-lifer's want Abortion to be banned. The Pro-choicer's want Abortion to be available to everyone. What are government really needs to set the laws is someone like me. I take both sides bring them together, and take the good and the bad and I sort them out. There are many things being done today to cut back on abortion and ways to make it simpler.
George Bush is doing many new things today to slow down abortion rates in America and if he has his way there would be a lot more. Bush holds kind of the same issue as I do about abortion, he believes that all abortion accepts in cases of rape, incest, or to save the mother's life should be banned. He has already made a new law where there will be a limit on the amount of abortions a doctor can do in a year. This law will not only cut back on the amount of abortions being given but will make the doctors think twice before just giving them out to anyone. All politicians have talked about banning partial abortion. In the 2000 presidential debate Al Gore said, "On the issue partial birth or so-called late-term abortion, I would sign a law banning that procedure, providing that doctors have the ability to save a woman's life or to act if the health is severely at risk, but the main issue is whether or not the Roe V. Wade decision is going to be over turned. I supported a woman's right to choose.".
On the other side of things many things are being done to make it easier for people to have abortions. A new pill is being call the morning after pill women can take this pill (essentially a super-dose of birth control pills) up to 72 hours after intercourse to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Depending on the stage of a woman's menstrual cycle, the pills will either keep an egg from making itself available to a sperm, or will stop a fertilized egg from implanting itself in to the uterus.
