As Plato believed on .
Women's rights while Aristotle didn't. .
As Aristotle believed on natural rights, it would be "against nature if children told their .
parents what to do"4 or basically a slave getting one on one with his master or disobeying .
him. .
Aristotle believed that only "Males were citizens"5 and they were the ones who share .
the holdings in the office, as women and slaves were not capable to rule. Aristotle .
seemed only one sided and that was in favor of Men as he says men were equal amongst .
each other and the reason he gives was that as men are "self sufficient".6 Also he talks .
about why women couldn't rule, the reason he gives is because "Women's natural .
inferiority to men"7. To explain this Aristotle gets a little biological and says that in .
reproduction male is superior to the female and that it is the male who provides the form .
of the new life and therefore female is inferior to male and needs to be ruled by a male.
In today's world, one can easily disagree with Aristotle's notion about only male to be .
citizens and that only they are equal and fit to rule because of natural rights and "self .
sufficiency". Today everyone have their own natural rights from Men to Women to .
Children. And the interpretations are different from what Aristotle thought.today not .
only men but also women work in the Offices. Children after being at a legal age they .
can also work. And most importantly Females today have also a natural right to rule if .
they have the capabilities to do so. .
Aristotle furthermore goes on discussing about to who is a good citizen. According to .
him "male citizens have to know how to rule and to be ruled"7b. Once you know these .
you, according to Aristotle, are a good citizen. After saying this one can easily assume .
that slaves, women and children are not considered to be a citizen yet alone to be a .
"good citizen" as they don't know how to rule and therefore their natural right is only to .
