Sex offenders

They rob them of their innocence. "Butler started forcing himself on me. He pulled off my pants he held my arms and hands down I pleaded with Butler to no avail he had sexual intercourse with me. I bled it hurt worse then anything I have ever felt" ("Betrayal"). Butler violated her. Immediately after they arrived to their hotel room Butler roughly started forcing himself upon her. As stated in the quotes above. She had no idea that would happen. She remarks how Butler told her that people were starting to talk. They needed to find somewhere else to get together, other then the gym. She proposed going to a restaurant, he firmly objected, because they needed privacy. She said he named a hotel and she agreed but only because he promised her that they were strictly going to talk volleyball. Next, sex offenders take advantage - take their victims self respect. In so many cases the victims are blind to what is ahead of them they are so trustworthy! For instance, this case started off when coach (Rick Butler) invited a member of his team to come to his house to discuss the upcoming year and what they were going to be doing on the team, "Her parents allowed her to go because his landlord was going to be there (Butler told her that himself), they were just going to talk about volleyball. Once she arrived at his home, surprisingly, she found they were alone. They went out for pizza where he told her of his feelings for her, that he just could not hide them, and that he could no longer control them. Afterwards, they returned to Butlers home and suddenly he forcefully backs her against the wall to where she can barely move. He strongly moved her face to his and pushed her lips into his and kissed her - fondled her" ("Betrayal"). She couldn't stop him physically or mentally. It's to hard for victims to tell the offender "No!" What could she do? She had no idea she would ever get raped. Often times people plan and think ahead about what they might do if place in an awkward position, but how many people, especially children, think they will ever get raped? It is so disgusting that another human being can be sick enough to inflict sex on someone else.
