Essay on Bush

Transformative, the esteemed dictionary.com gives us this as a definition-Having power, or a tendency, to transform (lead to great change). Such a skill is essential in a great President, Presidents like Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, and JFK. Though it was mentioned as a skill of a great President it can also be found in the countries worst leaders, i.e. George W. Bush. Mr. Bush has high jacked this word and used it to do terrible things, may it be consciously or subconsciously. Mr. Bush has gone on to make great change for the negative in this country; he has alienated many of our closest allies, blundered through great opportunities, and blatantly lied to the country. These problems only hinder of the USA to grow in popularity among the people of the world, and the people within its borders.
Our first stop on this tour of the Bush Whitehouse is its foreign policy. Ever since the horrible day that was September the 11th the Bush presidency has persisted to bully and bribe their "allies" into line. You may say, "What about France? They didn't give into Mr. Bush." No, they didn't give in, but not with out a price. The very popular item "French" Fries have since been changed to "Freedom" Fries in the cafeteria of the House of Representatives. When asked why he chose to change the name Rep. Bob Ney, Republican of Ohio said this to CNN, "This action today is a small, but symbolic effort to show the strong displeasure of many on Capitol Hill with the actions of our so-called ally, France." Kind of ironic in the fact that the name was for the type of cut not because of where it was invented, which was not France. .
The Bush White House was not as constructive in that action as they were with the proposed vote by the Security Council on whether to go to war with Iraq. The US didn't show up because even with all the bribes they shelled out they still weren't going to get the vote, so in response they acted like little three year olds and did what they wanted anyway.
