Breast Cancer

 

            You exam your body you find a lump on your breast. What is it you ask? Well answer may just be that you have the beginning stage of breast cancer. What is breast cancer you ask? Well cancer itself is a disease characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. Breast cancer specifically is any type of malignant cancerous growth in the breast tissue. There are several types of breast cancer, but the common types are Ductal Carcinoma, Lobular Carcinoma, Medullary Carcinoma, and Mucinous Carcinoma. Ductal Carcinoma is when cancer cells are present inside the milk ducts, but they have not yet spread through the walls of the ducts into the fatty tissue of the breast. The second common type of breast cancer is Lobular Carcinoma, which is found in the milk producing glands of the breast. This is said to prevent rapid spreading of the cancer, and it often can be treated more effectively compared to other types of invasive breast cancer. Last but not least Mucinous Carcinoma is the last type breast cancer being explained which is another type of invasive breast cancer. It is formed in the east by mucus-producing cancer cells which spread the disease into the surrounding breast tissue.
