How can the Walsall Primary Care Trust improve employee moti

Also this person has worked their way up to their position so they would have experiences of different type of motivation. Also this person has access to information, which could be useful to my investigation for example I have received a copy of the training opportunities (see appendix Pg ), which play a large part in motivation of employees.
I hope in my investigation that I can support the theories used and to try and conclude them to be successful using my knowledge and also to add to their employee motivation. I predict that I will support Hertzbergs and parts of Mayo's; I also imagine that criticisms will occur for Maslow's theory. .
             Interview Results.
I have interviewed a member of The Walsall Primary Care Trust and here are my findings: - .
The person I have interviewed is in her 50's, which gives her a lot of experience, and at this stage in her life she does not need money as a primary motivator. .
As being in her 50's she has been with the same group for 32 years and has reached her senior level so promotional aspects are not very motivating. .
Her typical working day is 9-5pm, which includes allocating work for nurses to do for the day, manage clinic sessions, sort out referrals, liase with the hospital, consultants and the G.P's. She went into this type of profession; as she liked caring profession, enjoy working with people, enjoy looking after people and she liked the environment. .
The things she likes about the group are highlighted in Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs (see appendix ) .
             Staff - belonging needs.
             Environment - physiological needs.
             Respect - esteem needs.
             Benefits -.
             Safety - safety needs.
Relationships in general - belonging needs.
This finding agrees with Maslow's hierarchy of needs (see appendix ) but it is only a small sample. Unlike Frederick Winslow Taylor (see appendix ) Maslows believed that Money was not the only motivator. Like Mrs Sandhu his idea was there was different types of needs Physiological, safety, belonging, esteem and self-actualisation needs.
