The Road Not Taken

This may not be the easiest one or the one that seems to make the difference in the beginning. This is demonstrated in the lines "I shall be telling this with a sigh//Somewhere ages and ages hence:" Meaning some time later on in the future.
Sometime in our life we will all make a choice. It can be a choice of right or wrong, a choice of to have dessert or not to have dessert, or a choice between what to wear. One choice will be the one that everyone makes, and the other choice will be the one that only a few people take. With each choice we make a product will result. Most of the times it will be the choice that the least people make that will be the better one. For example, choosing to accept Jesus Christ as your savior. God gave us a choice to accept the free gift that Jesus gave us. If we choose it we live with him forever in heaven, if we choose not to we live with the devil in hell forever. For most people it is not popular to choose the gift of Christ and follow him, but it is the best choice. It is what you would say is the road less traveled upon. Life is full of choices, it just matters which one you make. The one made less often may not seem the best at the time, but in the end it really is, as the poem demonstrates. Robert Frost wrote an amazing poem that vividly depicts the choices that we have to make in life. .
There are several other poems that can contribute to the meaning of The Road Not Taken. All of the students in the Digital Directions class chose a poem and expounded upon its meaning and its metaphor. One work, done by Rabiya accents this poem nicely. The poem she chose, entitled Everything the Power of the World does is done in a circle, talks about how everything in life is done in a circle or a cycle. As Rabiya states, "Ultimately, life is a never-ending cycle." This is true; life is a never-ending cycle that goes on and on. The same thing is relevant to choices.
