Summer Night

A young mother gazes into the starlit sky, questioning her love life and critisizing herself for all the wrong things she may have done in past relationships. Never really giving herself a thought that maybe it wasn't her fault that men didn't stick around. But as always in Hawaii, the atmosphere seemed to sooth her to complete solitude. As a single mother she had so many stresses; bills, daycare expenses, groceries, and really no time to herself. But on nights like these she would think of love and wonder when it would happen to her. One night, after dropping her daughter off with a friend, Alisha decided to go out and see if she could find a man who could understand her and want a relationship. She went to bars, clubs, and even out to eat. No luck at finding Mr. Right. So, giving up seemed the most pain free thing to do. She decided to take a walk on the beach to calm her thoughts of what it was that made men so eager to jump at another female, and what was so wrong with her.she kept walking. Finding a sea shell, she bent down to pick it up, and to her surprise, she bumped heads with a gentlemen that had bent down at the same time to retrive the same shell. They giggled at the whole scene and he introduced himself as Michael. They discussed everything from being a lonely soul to eating and bills. Later on that night he explained that he was a single father who was in turn doing the same thing that night as she was. Looking for that special someone to share his life with, and that he thought that maybe he had found it in her. She started crying, and explained that she too was a single parent and that she felt the same for him. And so started the perfect match on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.
