             The soil is where the roots of the plant are mounted. After the water moves out of the soil, it first enters the plant through the root epidermis. The epidermis sucks water in. They have very thin root hairs to make it easier to absorb water from a larger surface area. More surface area to absorb increases the possible amount of water than can be absorbed.After the water exits the root epidermis, it crosses the cortex of the root through a hydrated environment.It is also called the apoplastic route.After leaving this, the water comes into the root vascular cylinder, also known as the stele. The stele contains the xylem and phloem. The next stage is where the water enters into the xylem then it moves more into the plant itself. Next, water enters the mesophyll.This is where evaporation occurs. The water then diffuses out of the plant through the stomata. Stomata quotes are one of the minute pores in the epidermis of a leaf or stem through which gases and water vapor pass. There is a little bit left over after the diffusion through the stomata. This minute leftover amount is used for photosynthesis. There is also a mechanism involved in conducting water through the tissues. These forces that move the wonderful water affect the water potential.Water potential is the potential energy of water in a particular system compared to the potential energy of pure water at the same atmosphere pressure and temperature. The movement of water in plants is determined by water potential differences.Water potential measurements predict which way they will move. Because the concentration goes from higher to lower, we can presume that the start of the process has the highest water concentration and it has the lowest concentration when it is in the atmosphere. .
