Existence of God

All human beings diligently work their way towards the truth. The definition of truth varies from person to person, each believing truths offered by religion or science. Scientists devote their lives giving logical explanations for everything they possibly can in regards to the universe. Religious followers, on the other hand, do not focus their devotion into explaining the universe but instead they accept it for what it is and devote their lives seeking inner peace through meditative practice. The existence of a Supreme Being has been debated since the beginning of time. There have been many who have been able to contemplate the many possibilities with receptive attitudes, and consider both aspects of the debate. Rene Descartes, being one of those who debated on the topic of the existence of a Supreme Being from both perspectives, gives remarkable justifications on such a complicated and profound matter. Humans are limited in their universal understanding concerning truth, and as a coherent factor alongside the limits of humans, there must be some being in existence that is infinitely knowledgeable about the universal truths.
Humans, along with everything else in the universe, were initially created by a Supreme Being. Everything in the universe and the universe itself must have been created because an entity cannot be created without the use of existing entities. Earth, for example, is made up of many different nonliving and living matters such as rocks, plants, water, clouds, humans, animals etc. These entities can be further broken down to .
elements, and examples of this are water, which is made up of oxygen and hydrogen; humans, which are made up of many types of tissues, nerves, fluids etc. These entities can too be further broken down until eventually they cannot be broken down anymore. The very basic matter must have come from somewhere and could not have just been there from the beginning of time, therefore there must be a creator to create such simple matters and this creator being a Supreme Being.
