Global Warming

What would you consider the importance of, lets say the world? Thought provoking question, now isn't? Would you find it important if I told you that the world's glaciers are melting, or that the year 2001 was the second hottest year in the past 600 hundred years? Well you have never thought about the other end of things now have you? If I put it to you in a way that it might affect you, would you do something? The world was made to live on, not to destroy, and if you look carefully enough, you will see that yes, the world is getting destroyed. Just like a magic trick, right before your very eyes.
Global warming is exactly what it seems to be, the warming of the globe. The world is gradually getting warmer and the glaciers are melting little by little. This means that we could actually drown if we lived about 200 years from now. The north and south poll, plus all the other glaciers could melt. This means that the water level will rise, and therefore water will take up more room, this would touch another problem. The over-population of the world; there will be less room and more people.
Machines record the weather and the amount that it increases each year. In the past 600 years the weather has been increasing by point six degrease a year. You may think that you know what is causing this problem, the green house effect, but that is not exactly what is going on. The fact is, we actually do need the green house effect; it keeps our temperatures comfortable for living. With out the green house effect it would be much, much colder, and we wouldn't be able to live. The problem is that there are too many gasses being trapped in. This is putting the green house affect on overdrive causing overly warm weather. It is going to get warmer and you may think that you would like that, but if we get to a point where we cannot live because of the immense heat? That would not be pleasant, now would it?.
