The Founding Fathers were men of God, that is why no other nation has met America's stature. When the founding Fathers wrote the Second Amendment they didn't just write it for protection of the militia, what part of, ".right of the people to keep and bear arms.", isn't clear? And when they made it clear, ".shall not be infringed.", what part of that isn't clear? The Second Amendment, along with the other Amendments and Constitution is for the people, by the people. In the foundation of America, the Founding Fathers wrote it for complete sovereignty for the people. They believed in as least Government control as possible. That's why they wrote freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, petition to government (1st), right to a fair and speedy trial (6th), the right of trial by jury (7th), and to be secure in their houses (4th Amendment). And lets not forget the 9th and 10th, "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people". Now did I read that wrong? The certain rights carried out by the Constitution shall not be construed to deny them from the people. Now does it say, ".of certain rights excluding the Second Amendment, shall.". No I don't think it does. So how can the other 9 Amendments be for the people, but not the Second? "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, now prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people", 10th Amendment.
