             As parents, do you have any idea of where your children are at night? Most parents do not have any clue most of the time. Curfew should be enforced for minors under the age of 18 since parents do not know where their children are. Violence and crime will lessen. Areas will be safer. Parents will have more control over their children. So, as a person what do you feel about curfew? Curfew should be enforced for minors because violence and crime will lessen, areas will be safer, and parents will have more control over their minors. .
             First of all, violence will lessen and so will crime. Minors will be in their house and not out in the streets. Police will be patrolling the areas to make sure the minors are where they are supposed to be. Also, neighborhood watches will be keeping track of what is going on. Alcohol and drugs will be kept to a minimum and that will lessen violence and crime. Minors will have less access to the drugs and alcohol since they will not be out at all hours of the night. If curfew is in effect other people will not be at risk due to all the wild, out-of-control minors. .
             Second of all, areas will be safer. Gangs will be kept to a minimum due to the curfew. The gangs will have less time to gather. Due to the fewer times they will get to meet, fewer members will be able to join the gangs. Loitering will be cut down because of the curfew. Curfew will give minors less free time so they will not be able to loiter. Everyone will most likely be aware of the curfew so they will watch out for the minors. .
             Last of all, parents will have more control over their children since curfew will be enforced. Parents will have a better idea of where their children are and what time they will be home. The minors will not be able to stay out past a designated hour of the evening. Police will be on the parents side enforcing the curfew law. Minors will fear the curfew law due to the negative consequences.
