Same Sex Marriages

In section 2 of DOMA, it defines marriage as "only a legal union between one man and one woman. (Giving the definition to marriage a whole new meaning).
Not only is this ruling completely contradictory within itself, but it's unmoral and unjust towards our society as a whole. If you looked at this situation completely blind, with no personal beliefs towards homosexuals, then it would be very apparent that this Bill is completely unconstitutional.
First of all, this unconstitutional bill is referred to as, "The Defense of Marriage Act."" This reference is completely out of line. I don't think that these political leaders should get "defensive- about laws in which they've already set, and I believe that the only reason why they are so defensive about this Act, is simply because they know the aren't playing their own game by their own rules. (Changing the meaning of marriage (to specifically filter out homosexuals interested in marriage) to a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife) is by no means, playing by the rules. That's altering them to fit their own beliefs. If you ask me, redefining a word is not a very appropriate way of defending marriage (Not that marriage should even be defended in the first place) It's kind a sad that our representatives are that pathetic that they can't even find probable reasons for establishing most of their laws. It's more than just hiding behind words. It's so much more tactless. It's creating some completely bogus definition that's completely irrelevant to anything, and then hiding behind it. If the definition of marriage can be so quickly defined in such a narrow minded manner, then what about the rest of the English vocabulary? I guess the Webster's definition is not good enough for our society. It would only make sense that they altered the definition of "equality- as well. .
This Act is a thoughtless solution to solve a non-existing problem.
