            "I never imagined that I would be homeless." Although this is said by many typical beggars on the street, but the facts behind it remain astonishing from each of them. The beggars each have different stories to tell. Stories like broken homes, drug addictions, running away from home, and economic problems. In today society, the number of homelessness increases day by day in the population with no permanent solutions to the problem. .
             Economic problem is mostly the case that led people to become homeless, especially with the economy being down recently. Many workers have been laid off and they face many issues economically. These people couldn't afford with the cost of housing, utilities, food, and much more. Moreover, they couldn't seek any help from any families or friends, therefore, they end up living on the streets.
             As for the case of homeless women alone, they are mostly divorced or have left home because of the physical abuses from their husbands. These women are usually not giving the chance to get the education that it takes nowadays to get the jobs. In addition, they are incapable of handling the stress of living on their own. As the result, they are in the state of living their lives as beggars.
             Most homeless men are those who are just released from prison and have no relatives that they can rely on. Due to the bad record and the lack of experience in the working field for the most current years, it is almost impossible for these men to be accepted for any job. With this, most are being embarrassed that other will look down on them. A homeless man wondering in Downtown San Jose stated that he was "too ashamed to contact anyone." As the result, he has no choice but to wonder around the corner to ask for small changes and sometime a little bowl of warm soup.
             In conclusion, with this type of economical and social conditions, it is hard for people to keep up financially. In worst cases, it led them to be living on the streets.
