Kay was waiting out side for them all to arrive to take the register. Mrs. Kay was the progress class teacher was a kind and caring person, she is aware that these children will never find a good decent job which is good paying but she is able to teach them what she can, but today was all about having fun and making sure that they were all going to have a good day out. As the children were all about to get on the bus the driver would not let them in unless they had been searched by Mrs. Kay for chocolate and lemonade she asked to speak to the driver in privet and said to them that they were very poor children and that the had never even seen lemonade let alone drink any of it, so when they got on the bus he gave one of the kids a pound and said to go to the sweet shop and buy as much sweets as he can with that, this is a dramatic devise to involve the reader to make them laugh to add a bit of humor to the story, when Mr.
