Definition of Love

Possessing a myriad of definitions, love is best defined in an exclusively personal mode. It may be toward a person, place, activity, or possession, but regardless of the manner in which it is shown, there is a common ground amongst them all. That relativity is a feeling of care, joy, patience, and sacrifice. It is an emotion unbounded by the means of reason. Love holds capability to give one an indescribable feeling of happiness, and in the next moment, turn it to painful sorrow. The importance of love is shown in scripture and experienced in a personal fashion. .
When one contains the emotion of love for something, it is to be unconditional, or the true feeling of love was never held. "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:7). The greatest feeling of love is exemplified by God, referred to as Agape love. He gave the preeminent display when giving us His son as a sacrifice, so we could be given another chance. Love is not to be taken lightly, for if it is true, with it follows great responsibilities. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). .
Shakespeare once said, "The course of true love never did run smooth." Love is a hard road to ride, for it consists of much pleasure and despair. It is a difficult thing to stumble upon, for it is very quietly deceptive. It is relative to the nature of a ghost, for all speak of it and acknowledge the existence, but few have seen it. The importance is that without love a person has nothing. Our very nature, our purpose for life, though rarely pursued, is to witness to others, out of love, to ensure their safe destiny and blessed assurance in Heaven. .
It is impossible to capture the beauty of love. The mystery and depth is what generates its magnificence. It was once said, "I love you more today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.
