Lutherans also have the same belief as Roman Catholic that God created the universe and is in control of what is going on.
Lutherans definition of the Gospel is very similar to Roman Catholics, God loves all his children and accepts all types of people. Salvation also has the same definition as Roman Catholics. It is being filled by the grace of God so that you know that you are loved by God and he forgives and reconciles you. I found their thought of sin to be very interesting when compared again to Roman Catholics. They believe it is a person's refusal to be who God created them to be. Catholics believe that no one is perfect and it is normal to sin without fully be aware of it. That is that God created people not to be sinless. Another interesting response I got was from the question "Do Lutherans believe they hold the one true faith?" Mr Sanchez said "Yes, but we also believe we are not the only ones who hold it." Offcourse they believe they hold the one true faith, they wouldn't continue going to church if they didn't. The interesting part was how they believe they aren't the only o!.
nes to hold the one true faith. Maybe Mr Sanchez didn't want to sound rude knowing that I was not a Lutheran, that could be a reason for his answer, but if a religion believed another religion was another true faith, how come they have different view points. So if a Lutheran went to another one of those so called other true faith churches, there would be no problem. No, there would be a problem and as a Roman Catholic would say, they hold the one true faith because we believe our religion and not others. .
In different parts of the world, women are treated differently. For example in Arabic countries women obey anything a man says if they are the husband or father. But in countries like Australia, America and England, women have equal rights to a man, and there is even law to make sure those rights are not inflicted.
