             Perhaps it was best said by Irving Berlin in his song, "God Bless America". This song is a perfect example of the pride Americans are feeling for their country. Due to recent terrorist attacks, patriotism is again on the rise in the United States. Patriotism has been spreading all over the country and is shown almost everywhere. This rise in patriotism has had many effects on the different aspects of the recent attacks.
             Patriotism has found its way into almost all parts of everyday activities. It is seen in quite a variety of different places. No matter where one looks there is some sign of patriotism. Some people have different ways of expressing their patriotism. These different expressions of patriotism and the rise of patriotism have had many effects on the United States. Patriotism has passed from one person to another, as if it is contagious. Some people are more fanatic patriots than others are. Hence, there are many different acts of patriotism.
             For starters, patriotism is seen all across the country. In many different locations throughout the United States there is a sign of patriotism on the rise. Perhaps the place where patriotism is soaring the highest is in New York City. This city was struck with the hardest blow of terrorism. Although the city suffered much grief, the attack has spurred people from all over the country to show their respect and support. New York and Washington are the centers of all the patriotism American's feel. America is uniting, and everyone is behind the effort to persevere through hard times and come out on top (Tragedy). Also, schools across the United States have been showing their support for their country. Most kids say that patriotism is something that makes them feel good to be an American. Parents and many Americans are thrilled at schools heightened emphasis on national pride (Patriotism). It would seem that patriotism is only a passing fad, but it looks as if it is here to stay.
