People across America are eager to understand what has overcome Colin Powell. Many are thirsty for his leadership and are waiting for him to shine. Co-workers are shocked by his lack of participation within his job. An official from the Bush administration says, " I've been struck by how not struck I am by him." Many thought Colin Powell would several years ago, have walked into the presidency. To President Bush, Powell is just one of the many talented team advisors .
There has been a difference of opinion between Powell and the administration on several issues. For starters, Powell is a compassionate conservative who wishes to protect Americans in a multilateralist point of view. The administration wants to do away with the antiballistic Missile Treaty in order to protect Americans. Powell does not completely agree with it, he believes on different tactics to maintain peace. Some may argue, it is frustration that has got him. When asked by Times he said, "I"m not frustrated. There are problems that need to be solved. And my job is to help the President find the right answers to the problems he faces. It's not for me to be frustrated, that's not an opinion.".
