Laws on abortion would definitely be a tough subject to converse with a group of people. This mainly is because there is so many people who will disagree with each other on whether to legalize it or not. The government has to get a tally on what majority wants in order to make a law against it or for it. There are three different opinions that people give on abortion. Those opinions are what the government needs to make its decision for society.
People of the United States of America are either pro-abortion, pro-life, or pro-choice. They all have their reasons being, whether it is because they are involved with a church that is against it, or they are just think that it would be wrong if a girl couldn't have the choice of having an abortion. There are so many different views on it and many people take it very seriously. Right now the government seems to think that abortion should be up for grabs if a girl wanted it.
*Pro-abortion: means that you are for abortion. In your opinion it should be legal for a girl to stop the birth process of a child that she was going to have. If she didn't want to have the child of guy that she was having relations with, she didn't have to. For some reason if she thought it was an accident/mistake and didn't want the child because it might ruin her life, she could have an abortion and not have worry about it. She wouldn't have to raise a child in her teen years or during college or highschool. She could just have an abortion and wait to have a kid when she is ready to.
*Pro-life means that you are not for abortion in any way. You think that there should be a law against killing a baby that a girl was going to give birth to. Maybe your church is against it because it is a sin to kill and abortion involves killing the life of a soon to be born baby. They consider it stopping the life of a young one and not giving it a chance to go through life and live like a normal person.
