Homosexuality

Sexual intercourse, although to most is an enjoyable event, to many it can be a risky, and a very scary event. It is true sex is vital in terms of reproduction, advancement in population, and the growth if families. However there are many risks involved in this pleasurable event. For instance there are thousands if not millions of people throughout the world carrying various sexual transmitted diseases. Although some are curable, there are many that are not. Such as herpes, HPV virus, and most importantly AIDS. Despite the few glitches, all in all, sexual intercourse is commonly accepted amongst society. Whether or not it is condoned all people it is a big part of our society, and at many levels must be dealt with. In an intimate relationship sex is a rather large component in many aspects, whether that be a heterosexual or homosexual relationship. .
Today, in modern times, homosexual relationships are becoming a lot more common, and those who partaking in them are becoming much more open about their sexuality. This may be due to the fact that others are becoming more tolerant and accepting gay and lesbian couples. But, nonetheless, arguments still arise concerning the sexual relationships of same gender couples, and about same gender partners raising children. This issue can be viewed at many different angles. Personally I feel that what two people do behind closed doors is no ones business other than their own. Who's to say that same gender couples can't have children of their own? If their children are being brought up in a loving, caring, stable environment, then whether or not the parents are of opposite sex shouldn't even be in question. But, since this has become such a large concern in today's society and standards, there must be a level of understanding reached.
Same gender sexual intercourse, if done responsibly and with the consent of both partners, should be deemed as socially acceptable.
