He spoke to them for several hours, telling them how to help their neighbour. After he had spoke the disciples came to Jesus and said, Father, your people have travelled far and are now plagued with hunger. Jesus told them to look for food in the crowd of people, but all they came back with was a basket of five loaves and two fishes that a local boy was taking back to his home. Jesus took the food and passed it onto the people in front of him. They ate their food and soon nobody was hungry. Jesus then passed the local boy his basket and still it contained five loaves and two fishes.
Here we see examples of Jesus helping the sick (The blind man) and feeding the poor and hungry (Five loaves and two fishes). Christ helped the poor and sick, as an act of kindness and to show that if you help others you will be rewarded. So as Christians we want to be like Christ so we work to help the weak and the suffering, so we can be like Christ and be rewarded in the kingdom of heaven.

In section 1 I discussed that Christians have special responsibilities for the weak in society because Jesus helped the weak. The weakest in society are unborn babies, as they can't be heard, and the dying, as they are not heard.
In section 2 I will be discussing the topics of abortion and euthanasia, and how Christians would react to them.
The dictionary definition of abortion states:.
"The expulsion of a foetus before the proper time."".
Firstly I should point out that Christians are only against unnatural abortion. Some abortions occur naturally (miscarriages) and the recognises this fact and so at times of natural abortions the church believes that Christians should offer support to the parents of the child and pray for their sorrow.
Many people would argue that there are special cases when abortion is acceptable. But if we are all supposed to be good Christians, how could anybody accept murdering an unborn child.
The following reasons are the most common arguments for abortion:.
