High School Transformation

What could be a bigger ordeal then going into a new world? It would be a huge event unparalleled by anything that has happened as of today. The explorers, whose names would go down in the history books, were probably scared out of their minds. This is exactly what is it like to start attending High School. It is an event that rivals most that happen on ones time line. Attending T.W. Andrews High School is a huge step in my life's outcome.
First of all, Going to Andrews changed my character in many ways.
Although, I thought of high school as being as the Junior High except bigger, I never realized the impact that it would have on my character. I have never been part of a social group or liked to talk any but after being in the company of all the interesting, and unique people there was no way I couldn't fit it. I took a totally different route after my first experiences in high school. I also got over the fear of talking and being with people and joined debate. I have always been a maverick for as long as I can remember, but after those frightening and exiting steps through the front door my past dissolved behind me. Also all my classes were more advanced so we didn't have any students who didn't want to learn which was good for me because it was easier to trust the people in my class because like me, they were there to learn and make an acceptable grade. It opened me up to start trusting people, accepting their opinions and drawing myself out of the solo stage. I still do not like to talk but I have opened myself to new ideas and started activities that will cause myself to adapt to things I really had no interest in in the first place. Therefore, attending Andrews really changed my character.
Another way High School was a big step in my life was that it changed my perspective toward responsiblites. I had to be more up to date and aware of all the activities going on my life. It determined whether I passed or failed and was able to take advanced courses for college in my future.
