Establish Effective Workplace relationships

            What sources would you use, to collect information on possible organizations to support? In other words where would you look? .
             The sources that can be used for this type of research are varied. The Internet would be one option as there are unlimited charitable organizations that can be found there. However this type of search can be very broad and it would be difficult to single out one organization that needs help. Magazines and newspapers also contain articles on organizations that require funding and assistance through charity. Within the small computer Software Company may also be a good place to start looking, as there are employees from minority groups that may have some first hand experience in places that require some assistance through charity. You could speak with these employees to see if they have any suggestions, as these are the people who are least likely going to complain about giving away 2% of their salaries. It would also be important to speak with the Australian employees to hear their ideas. Giving the employees a chance to suggest something would also make them feel like they have had some input into which charitable organization to support. If the company simply picked the first organization it came across without the knowledge of the employees they may not approve and there could be some disharmony within the office. It is important to give everyone a say on the matter.
             What methods would you use to communicate your ideas with your workmates? .
             Calling a staff meeting would be a great first step, as it would allow employees a chance to learn about the idea of supporting a charitable organization. It also gives employees a chance to ask questions and air their thoughts on the matter. This could be better than talking to each employee privately as many would probably ask the same questions. In a meeting situation everyone present gets the answers to all of the questions.
