Students don't do well in school at all. Some might be, grades dropping, home life, physical handicap, and so on. But sometimes there isn't any reason at all. The three main reasons why students don't do well in school are, not doing homework/class work, they don't study enough, and there peers. .
Kids these days don't make time to do anything, especially there homework and class work. They don't take the time wisely to do any of it anymore. A few years back, if a student didn't do their work, the student would get into trouble. Now days everything is different. The students don't get into trouble when there homework or class work isn't done. I don't think that's fair at all. But who am I to say. Students only do the work that they want to do. If they don't do it then that's fine. When they turn it in late all they do is get points taken away. But that's not showing the kids anything. It should be, turn it in when the teacher says or don't turn it at all. But students hardly ever do the work that they are suppose to do. I know in middle school, they don't. But high school might be different. How do kids expect to be passing anything if they don't do the most important stuff. .
Most students don't want to take the time out to study. They are always have way to much of other things to do. Like go on AOL, watch TV, listen to music and the list can go on forever. If they fail they fail, they don't care. Or they don't even bring home books or their notes that they take. It you have test most likely, some students would bring stuff home to study. But 90% don't. They don't care about anything anymore. Why should teachers keep trying if the student don't care.
Another reason why students aren't doing well in school is because of there peers. Most of your friends put pressure on you so you always have other stuff to think about. Or they say the parents make them do other stuff. Which sometimes is true, sometimes not.
