Women should continue having the right to decide what happens to their bodies, including the decision whether to have an abortion or not. The constitution states that we the people have free speech and free religion. Why would they question a young woman possessing the choice of whether or not to go through with the pregnancy? Although the decision of having an abortion is a difficult one, in the long run it may benefit society to not have unwanted children. When a mother is forced into bearing a child, and she does not have the money and time to spend on the child, it illustrates consequences that will affect the child in its development. When a child is born into a poor or neglecting family, the child tends to associate itself with gangs, drugs, violence, sexual activity, etc. this effects society because the government spends you, the taxpayers money, dealing with these children. .
