Religion ans politics are important but the main character is the people and not big issues. Every single event is important. According to every single thing have a symbolism in the structure of the play, this structure became really complex.
             The most relevant part of the house is the drawning- room. These are drawing-room novels, so they are associated with women.
             Pay attention, we are in the time of the industrial revolution, the skill workers are implicit in these novels, so those who control the industries are the new social class, the trade world, the aristocracy, the landowners. They are who have many free time to do things they are going to be characters of Jane Austen's novels.
             Her father was rector, and their lived in villages, all the people she knew belong to the social class, the upper and middle classes.
