We have been producing a trailer for an action film. I decided to work with Ben Angell and Samuel Burton because they are friends and we are all in the same media group, we needed 3 people for our group.
The idea started of with a plan for a horror film trailer and developed into an action film. I think it developed into an action film because the resources that we have would make it easier and look better if we made an action film. Also our questionnaire showed that lots of people like action films. .
We had several ideas these were a war film trailer, an action film trailer (final idea), a mystery, a drama, a horror and a T.V advert for yoga.
We excluded the other ideas because.
1. The War Film.
We are not allowed to use real or replica guns and we would need a lot of actors.
2. T.V Ad.
Hard too get good sound quality.
3. Horror Film.
The idea has been worn out and the resources we had would be better for an action film.
4. Drama Film.
Hard too get a good realistic story line.
5. Mystery Film.
In a trailer it can be hard to portray the idea.
We divided up the tasks among the group because Sam and Ben volunteered to act and I wanted to film.
Our main objectives were to make an action film trailer to appeal to the target audience and to promote the film and to make the production as professional as possible.
We didn't set out to highlight any particular issues when making this film trailer.

We have chosen the film tailor medium as we thought that it would look the best and help us achieve our objectives in the most professional way.
The genre that we chose was originally horror but as I explained earlier in the evaluation we changed it to an action film.
The conventions of action films are lots of fasts editing the use of music to heighten tension usually two men or gangs that are rivals. I researched the above conventions by watching action film trailers.
We have not tried to break any of the conventions in our film as we thought hat the conventions where the best way to show our film.
