             people focusing on causing Chaos. Though, the United States has been a hated country of .
             most of these groups, never was the country itself attacked. Many people couldn't believe .
             that terrorism could strike home, that it was something distant, and that America could .
             not be targeted by a large scale attack, let alone a nuclear one. This all changed with the .
             events of September 11th, involving a very well planned attack on America. Now, after a .
             year and a half, questions begin arizing of new threats of even greater destruction in the .
             future. The U.S. wasn't isolated from the world, it too could be a target of a terrorist .
             group, or the rouge nation backing it. So, post 9/11 How Likely is a Nuclear Terrorist .

             Al Qaeda, currently the largest, and most known about terrorist orginization has .
             spent many years trying to find ways to assemble a nuclear device. Headed by the FBI's .
             most wanted man, Osama Bin Laden, it's been known that he has been searching for the .
             bomb for quite some time. In a CIA intercepted E-mail from a Bin Laden underling .
             itstates that "Osama bin Laden was planning to carry out a "Hiroshima" against .
             America."(Bulletin of Atomic Scientists).

             Nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists is a frightening prospect. Even a small .
             blast with a 5-kiloton bom, roughly 1/3rd the destructive power of the bomb dropped on .
             Hiroshima could destroy a good portion of New York city. Spreading radiation across .
             the rest of the city and onward for miles.

             So, has Al Qaeda recieved these Weapons Grade radioactive materials in an effort .
             to make a bomb? Officials for the president say Bin Laden has not found rich enough .
             materials to make a bomb effecient enough for one of it's atom's to split.
