Battle of the Sexes

            
             I choose the third poster because it demonstrates something that normally doesn't get much attention. Which is the fact that women are too bread winners of families. You always here how men work and take care of the family. There are many women that work and make more money then men that take care of the family. In the poster it says 25% of women are breadwinners of the family. I also like that joke that went along with the statement. The jokes deals with the aspect that men are intimidated, by women that are more successful than they are. Many men are afraid to commit to women that make more money then they do. I guess it makes them feel inferior. This brings me to question why it is okay for a woman to make less than a man. Wouldn't this make the woman feel inferior to the man? It seems that society has made standards different between the sexes. Also the other statement about saving money on clothes and cosmetics was funny as well. I feel that society has force women to look a certain way and wear certain cosmetics. I think women should stop spending so much money a clothes and cosmetics and use it for something more useful or something they really. Women spend so much money to keep up with each other in society.
             I also choose the forth poster to write about because it address many issues that are not well publicized. The first statement that I never really heard about was that men take longer breaks than women. I believe that this is true because men tend to do jobs more time efficient that for efficiency itself. Women tend to pay more attention to every .
             detail rather than doing the job in less time. Therefore men have more time to break. Women get so caught up in the work that they work through breaks no knowing the time. There are several exceptions among men and women on this issue. The other statement about how women and people of color will make up the majority of the workforce seems true to me.
