Motor Trend Magazine

There are many car magazines that I enjoy reading. I find them to be very informative and very interesting. However, I believe that there is one thing that sets Motor Trend apart from others: the articles.
I recently had a chance to read Ron Grable's article on the new Firebird. In the article he mentions the car's excellent power and handling. He also comments on the interior comfort and the car's ability to be civil as well as perform. I have owned this car for about five months now, and I have had plenty of opportunities to test it out.
In his article, Ron says that the Firebird's power makes it a joy to drive. I cannot agree more; the car's power is what sets the Firebird apart. This was the first thing I noticed when I drove it. Since driving the Firebird, all other cars seem slow. I can't say that I"m any bit disappointed with the car's performance.
Ron also praises the car's handling. He mentions the car's tendency to understeer when the throttle is not used. I have found that this is true, and the Firebird is the most predictable car I have driven. The car is a blast on windy roads and is even easy to drive with one hand. This also adds to the driving enjoyment.
About the only thing Ron didn't like about the new Firebird was the level of interior comfort. He says that the car is not very comfortable for a six footer. I am almost six feet, and I can't say that I am uncomfortable in the car; however, some improvements could be made. Probably the biggest help would be more seat support and more seat controls. Still, the Firebird is a lot more comfortable than you would expect in a high performance car. This makes the car easy to live with on a daily basis.
As I said earlier, it's the articles that set your magazine apart from the others. Now that I have owned my Firebird for a short time, I believe that Ron has done a nice job informing readers of the positives as well as the drawbacks of the new Firebird.
