             She is the most sensible and intelligent of her five sisters. Elizabeth possesses a very sharp tongue, which often proves to sharp for her own good. She is an intelligent young woman who posses a keen wit and is very observant of other people characters. When meeting Mr. Darcy she instantly dislikes him. She doesn't hesitate to judge his character. Eventually she is able to see him for who he truly is.
             Mr. Darcy.
             Mr. Darcy is Mr. Bingley's best friend. He is rude and inconsiderate. He finds himself very intelligent and wishes that his company lived up to his standards. He sees himself as someone no one dares to say no to. Only the people he cares about can tame him a little. And there aren't many. .
             Charles Bingley.
             Mr. Bingley is Mr. Darcy's wealthy best friend. He is blissfully unaware or uncaring of class difference. His purchase of the Netherfield estate allows for the story to exist. His easy going and well meaning demeanor contrast strongly with Mr. Dracy.
             Jane Bennet.
             Jane Bennet, the oldest Bennet daughter, is beautiful, humble, and selfless. She is a bit naive because of her good nature, especially when it comes to recognizing the wickedness of others. This leaves her vulnerable to injury from insincere friends like Caroline Bingley. .
             Mrs. Bennet.
             Mrs. Bennet is a foolish woman. She doesn't have any sense of propriety and neglects to provide her daughters with a proper education. Instead, she remains concerned solely with securing them profitable marriages. Her lack of self-awareness constantly embarrasses Elizabeth and Mr. Bennet alike.
             Mr. Bennet.
             An intelligent man, Mr. Bennet displays an unfortunate disinterest in most of his family, besides Elizabeth. He seems weary after spending many decades married to the interminable Mrs. Bennet. He is shaken only when Lydia's poor decisions in Brighton threatens her future.
