             The intersection of language and politics can also very evident in schools, where languages considered minority have either been promoted or banned as political systems try to either sought to ban or promote these minority languages in view of promoting nationality or strengthening identification with one's cultural background.              Intersection Between Language and Socio-Economic Class.
             Socio-Economic Status (SES) of a person is the measure of the total economy and sociology ofa family's in relation to that of the others. Moreover, it refers to peoples' social or economic position in relation to those of other individuals on the basis of education, occupation and education (Lado, 2009). As further observed by this author, an individual's socio-economic class be divided into three broad categories; high, low and middle SES. The language or linguistic environment of high and low SES children vary significantly thus affecting various aspects of literacy and syntax and semantics development. .

For instance, by as a result of efficient familiar words processing, children aged as low as 2 years who fall under high SES tend to have superior expressive vocabularies than their counterparts who fall under low SES.
