Tiger Woods – A Mental Game

In the wee hours of the morning of November 27th, 2009, Elin Nordegren spitefully chased her husband, Tiger Woods, with one of his golf clubs after he crashed his car when pulling out their driveway at 2:00 a.m. Prior to this November morning, Tiger Woods and his former Swedish model wife, Elin Nordegren were "happily" married since 2004 with two children. Tiger Woods began his professional golfing career in 1996, and in 1997, at the age of 21, Woods became the first African American and youngest male to win the U.S. Masters. To this day, Tiger Woods has won 14 major titles, one of two golfers to win all four major titles 3 times each, holds the records of PGA Player of the Year 11 times, and has many more accolades that will solidify his golf legacy to be one of the best. Due to what occurred from Tiger Woods crashing his car that November morning, and after Woods confessed to cheating with up to 120 women in early 2010, it is easy for the public to hate Woods. Tiger Woods immediately went from being one of the most loved athletes in the world, to being one of the most hated athletes due to his confessions. Since confessing to the sex scandal allegations, Tiger Woods' golf career has been subjected to being victimized by the public eye for what he has done in his personal life. The focus on Woods' problems in his personal life have created an immense amount of pressure on his golf career, and the public eye should separate his personal life from his golf career.
Prior to Tiger Woods' sex scandal, he was praised for being a living legend in the game of golf, and he could do no wrong. Woods had won 13 major titles at the age of 34, and was on pace to break the major titles record of 18 set by Jack Nicklaus (Tiger). Adding to Woods' accomplishments, over a span of 12 years, he received PGA Player of the Year 10 times (Tiger). Tiger Woods did everything right, he has two kids with his model of a ex-wife, more money than anyone could spend, and could make any shot that appeared impossible, look easy.
