Tiger Woods Introduction .
I would like to introduce one of the most famous athletes of our time or any time. Ever since he was two this young man was destined for greatness. His name is Tiger Woods. He first broke par in golf when he was twelve, a feat that some people spend a lifetime trying to do. He jumped into the spotlight when at age twenty he became the first golfer to win the U.S. Amateur golf tournament three times in a row. At this point everyone knew he was bound for greatness. Then less than a year later in April of 1997, he won his first major, the Masters golf tournament. He went on that year to win the money title. At this point the Tiger Woods phenomena was in full effect. Since then he has won seven more majors and a total of 37 tournaments. He is also one of the wealthiest athletes in professional sports. He is sponsored by the likes of Buick, Nike and Titleist. He currently is considered one of the most well known athletes in all the world, and has a following of fans to back that. His kindness shows in his charities like the Tiger Woods Foundation and the amount of effort he puts forth to give back to those less fortunate. Who knows what great things he will do in his lifetime, but you can be sure he will go down as one of the greatest golfers to ever live and a pioneer in a new era of competitive golf.
