SUMMER SISTERS

Hi, my name is Victoria L, but you can call me Vix. I grew up in a small neighborhood in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my family. Unfortunately my family was very poor, and we didn't have much. My Mother, Tawney, was tough on me at times. I knew that she didn't want me living in poverty when I grew older. My Father, Ed, was a very understanding man. He stuck up for me when things got tough around the house. I also lived with my two sisters and Brother Nathan. He was born with a disease, which wouldn't allow him to live past his teens. Unfortunately Nathan died almost 6 years ago. .
I attended public school in Santa Fe with a girl named Caitlin S. She was a very wealthy, high class girl who everyone adored. Caitlin asked me to spend the summer at Martha's Vineyard with her, her dad, and brother. My mom wasn't to happy about the idea, but my dad talked her into it. The two of us spent many summers together, making our relationship like no other. When I turned 14, I got offered a scholarship to attend a private school with Caitlin. Once we graduated from school, I got accepted to Harvard. Meanwhile, while I was studying, Caitlin was traveling Europe. I got offered a job at New York which I took immedialtely, after I graduated from Harvard. .
Almost a year later, Caitlin calls me to see if I'll be her Maid of Honor. She tells me she is going to marry Bru, my ex-boyfriend who I will probably never get over. The wedding turned out well, even though I was hoping Bru would confess his love to me. Almost a year after the wedding Caitlin had a little girl named, Maizie. When Maizie turned 1, she left everything behind including her husband, family, and friends. She went to Europe for 2 weeks, which eventually turns into 2 years. .
Approximately a year after Caitlin and Bru's wedding, I finsd myself in love with an old childhood friend from the Vineyard. His name is Gus. Gus and I decided to get married, and have a family together.
