Abortion

An innocent friendship may evolve into a serious boyfriend, girlfriend relationship. In the present day teenagers are forming these bonds at very young ages. They have obtained a more mature role and are making decisions that may drastically change their futures. Now a days, teenagers are having unprotected sex resulting in the conception of a child, which leads to abortion or taking the responsibility of the unborn child. .
Abortion is a very controversial subject that has been continually argued over for the past few years and probably for many years to come. Several people would say abortions should not take place because it is considered murder. Murder to whom? No one thinks about the situation and how the child is going to be treated. People who do not believe in abortions end up having a child and neglecting or abuse their offspring. Why should such cruelty occur when it does not have to? Take Michael for example, he was conceived when his parents were only fifteen years old. His father wanted his mother to abort the baby but his mother being old fashioned did not believe in abortions. They came to the conclusion to keep the child and the result was heartbreaking. Michael was abused throughout his childhood and was neglected from the two essentials a child needs to grow, love and attention. He was beat for things he never did or to relieve stress. He suffered from day one of his birth, left unattended and was left hungry frequently. Michael struggled through life and school until he was finally legally able to leave his parents home to live his own life. Now he is struggling between jobs to keep himself alive. .
Just imagine you in this position. You are a sixteen-year-old girl; you and your significant other have made the mistake to abuse the use of birth control. What would you do? Would you take the risk in throwing away your hard earned future and raise this child? Giving your future offspring with a father that just might not be there, a mother struggling with two or more dead end jobs.
