.
You finally arrive at the field, the lights are shining, the crowd is cheering and the cheerleaders are jumping and dancing just excited as you are. You now make your way to the individual position group and begin your pre game warm up. The adrenaline now turns to fear, fear of messing up, fear of losing, and fear of not performing your best. You walk from your individual group into the entire team. The fear now turns back to adrenaline as you make your way through the plays that are engraved in your mind. You hit the blocks and run the routes the best you can. Your ready to go, the time is now the opportunity is there. You finish up your pre game practice and make your way back into the locker room. .
Your now in the locker room warmed up and ready to go, but you must wait. The anticipation of the game with the flair of emotions is tearing you from every direction. You give that same pep talk to your teammates that you've given so many times before, but tonight it has a meaning. The final seconds fly by and your out the door. You walk to the front of the line and you lead your team to your house, to your field, to your 48 minute battlefield. The fans that were excited and cheering earlier are going insane. Your lined up at the entrance and there is chaos is the stands, the parking lots, and around the fences to the field. The cheerleaders are now at the entrance with a "Go Mustangs" sign stretched out. You blast through the sign and the feeling of pride, and power fill your body now. You make your way into the huddle in the end-zone. The screaming of "lets win" "they just aren't ready" and a whole lot of curse words goes on for just under a minute. The team chant goes on and your off to the sidelines, more enraged and more ready than ever before. Your on the sidelines waiting to go in like a firecracker ready to burst. The return team goes in and the crowd is now in a roar. The ball is kicked, than caught and your reciever makes his way up field.
