I am pretty sure that this is in fact true; I don't know much (or at least more that anyone else) about grammar, writing for fiction, or style but am very persuaded to believe that On Writing is the most truthful and adequate way to show beginners, like myself, the true basis for being a writer "this explains why I like the book so much.
