Harry Potter

The story I read was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The setting of the story is in England at a school for wizards called Hogwarts. There are three main characters, Harry Potter; Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Harry is a skinny boy with dark brown hair (which is always messy) and glasses. Ron is the youngest boy in a family of five, all of whom are wizards. He has lots of freckles and red hair - this is a trait that the whole family shares. Hermione is a tall girl with brown hair. She is what all the "wizards" call a "Mudblood". This means that she is a wizard whose parents are not magical. She however is a very talented wizard.
The story is basically all about Harry. He attends Hogwarts School of Wizardry, which is located far away from the rest of civilization, (the Muggles). When he arrives at Hogwarts for his fourth year he hears an announcement that there will be a contest for the sixth year students throughout the school year called, the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Two other wizardry schools will also be competing in this tournament. One student from each school will be chosen to compete for their school. Harry however, being only a fourth year student has no chance of being the one chosen. .
When the day came to select the students from each school, pieces of paper with each child's name on them were placed into the Goblet of Fire. The Goblet began "spitting out" pieces of paper. One.two.three. These were to be the competitors. But wait after the third name a fourth piece of paper came flying out of the goblet. On this last piece was the name Harry Potter. Even though Harry was only a fourth year student and had not been entered in the contest, it was decided that he would be allowed to compete.
There were three tests to pass in order to become the "Triwizard Champion". The first one was to fight a dragon. The second was to retrieve a personal item from the "Mer-people" that lived under the lake on the Hogwarts grounds.
