Beowulf

The Beowulf was written by Burton Raffel. The main characters in epics often face difficulties and dangers. And by escaping these difficulties they become hero. Beowulf has many characteristics, superior physical strength, supremely ethical, and loyal.
Beowulf proved that he is the strongest when he fought three battles with Grendel, Grendel's mother and the dragon. Heroes are supernaturally built also have a noble birth. When Beowulf fought the dragon, he was fearless and also fought without any kind of weapons. "I"d use no sword, no weapons, if this beast could be killed without it, crushed to deathlike Grendel, gripped in my hands and town limb from limb." This is the best example of a fearless and brave warrior. Beowulf was a part of many mystical battles and events. When he fights with Grendel, he grabs Grendel's claws and rips off his arm.
A good warrior is well respected in their societies. A good warrior also has reputation for his/her name. As Beowulf said, "He who can earn it should fight for the glory of his name." Beowulf was very loyal and he had self-confident. He stood up for his people and for him self, when it came to fight the monsters. He was loyal enough to protect his society and his fellow warriors.
Beowulf was supremely ethical. Beowulf also has a strong code of ethics, which he follows. Every hero has different kinds of ethic codes. Like, Batman he let go the criminals after fighting them, he did not kill them. He did not think it was appropriate; in another word this is his ethic code. Beowulf and Batman share almost the same ethic code. Beowulf is very loyal and true, he only kills the villain when its absolutely necessary and when he sees monsters attacking innocent people.
Beowulf is a superhero because of the achievements and work that he does for his people and for himself. Beowulf posses many more good things. By fighting all these fight with Grendel, Grendel's mother, and the dragon, he also swam for five days with Brecca; this made him one of the strongest and most amazing hero in our literature history.
