             To me the statement "to serve is an option but should be a way of life" means that everyone should believe in the Lord and involve him in all aspects of their life. It also means you should do many things during your life. For example choosing to help people. It is an option. You are not forced into helping people, it is a voluntary thing that you may or may not choose to do. .
             The definition to serve from the Cambridge English Dictionary means, "to work for and obey". It also can mean," to perform duties". But in the Bible for serve it says many things like, to serve is to help one another. Just like in Matthew 4:23, when Jesus went through Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness among the people. .
             That is what I believe to be one of the true meanings of "serve" according to the Bible.
             In our society we have many different religions, as Australia is a very multicultural society. They all have their different ways of serving and holy spirits that they serve. .
             I think that Christian's believe that The Ten Commandments are supposed to be guidelines that we try live our lives by. For example Commandment three states, "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain". To me that means you should not use the Lord's name when something goes wrong as many people do without noticing. When God hears this he is not happy. .
             Another Commandment "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour" I think means you should love everyone on earth as much as you love yourself. Treat them all, as you would like to be treated. .
             STUDIES IN RELIGION.
             "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee." Means to honour your mother and father as much as you should honour the Lord. And that they will live long on the earth that God has created for us all.
