            American culture is a great culture that people with different ideals should open their minds too. American culture is a culture that has molded within a couple of centuries and has developed more within the 100 years. Different people come into this country and with these people come with different beliefs and ideals that will influence other different people also. But, with every greatness, there are flaws.
             The United States isn't just British and Indian people settling and living in America anymore, but more and diverse people come to start new lives. From these people, we can absorb from their knowledge. Things such as food from Japan could improve the daily life of an average American diet. Or the practice of tai chi to relax someone body and learn to calm down from stress. America is known to be open minded with ideas from foreign countries. There are many unknown things out in America within people for people to grasp their knowledge.
             Though our nation is known for being open minded, it's also known for having ignorance in it also. Even though have accepted different ideas, some people refuse to believe ideas that would disturb them or rub them the wrong way. There is still racism, prejudice, and hate in our nation. In our school, workplace, or our homes it can be there. But people within our community should educate those who are unfortunate to know.
             America is filled with nearly with 300 million people. Influenced by movie icons, TV celebrities, musical talents, the people are individual pieces of the nation. People have made mistakes and learned from them. They taught their youth of their mistakes hoping they wouldn't make the same mistakes in their future. For example, back when racism was very active around the nation. Someone stepped up and spoke his words that we are equals and we should be treated that way. Words will carry onto the youth making things better for new generations.
