Abortion! It is immorally wrong and should be made completely illegal. If it is illegal to kill someone intentionally, then why is it not illegal to kill an unborn child? Studies show that from day one the fetus" heart begins to beat, so technically the unborn child is a living thing. Therefore you would be killing someone intentionally and should be sent to prison.
By having an abortion you are not only harming the unborn child, but you are also harming the mother. Studies show that even the most skilled doctors have women die shortly after their abortion. One doctor in particular is Robert D. Crist, MD. He is said to be "one of the most skilled and competent and committed physicians performing abortions", and yet he has had three of his patients die shortly after having their abortions. If this is true, then how many people have died under the hands of less skillful doctors?.
And for those fortunate patients who don't die, always have a high risk of medical problems. Problems such as: severe bleeding, infection, perforation of the uterus and even a part of the baby being retained. This can create major problems later in life if the woman wishes to have a child. Things that can happen to a woman just after having one abortion are: a miscarriage during the first trimester, which increases by 85%; labor problems, which increase by 47%; delivery problems, which increases 83%; and even premature birth, which increases by 300-500%. Don't forget all of this is just after having ONE abortion.
A study done over a period of five years states that 25% of woman who have had an abortion, sought out psychiatric help. Another study said the percentage to be higher at 40%. Clearly the women are having regrets about all that has happened.
