Human Cloning...Yes or No?

The idea of a human clone sounds intriguing. The concept of having someone similar to you, both physically and somewhat emotionally is mind blowing. While the first human clone is no doubt years away, the fact remains that this is an inevitable step for mankind. Some will love to see the steps taken for a human clone, while some bark at the fact that human cloning is humane. There are a lot of mixed feelings on if cloning could help us out medically or is it something that we as humans should not mess with.
The list of medical benefits is, in a word, amazing. First, clones can be born to deliver spare organ parts to a dying patient. This, in turn, can save many lives. In addition, cloning may be able to allow the re-creation of skin tissues. Many believe that with this technology, you will be able to clone individual organs without generating an entirely new person. One of the first benefits to come from cloning is supposed to be the ability to clone bone marrow for people suffering from leukemia or any such disease.
On the flip side, to clone a human is a thing that comes out of the movie Frankenstein. Scientist say cloning may have a harmful effect on all due to misuse. If this technology gets into the wrong hands, it could be use to work against us and we can have the next edition of Hitler.
I think that while cloning can turn against us, it can help many people. The benefits seem to outweigh the harm. To be able to save someone's life from a cloned organ is absolutely incredible. Many diseases would benefit from cloning. We would hopefully be able to find ways to get the genes that causes the cancers and the AIDS and get rid of the bad genes. On the contrary, in order to makes sure that this technology stays in the right hands the government could make only one facility that does cloning and have it heavily guarded so it cannot be taken over.
Another point to ban cloning is that when cloning a human we would lose the uniqueness of every human.
